A Rich blend by Carlos Fuente, Jr and  Stanford Newman using the double fermented exclusive Connecticut  Fermented Wrapper (CFW) in each cigar.  The larger ring, allowing for the blending of 6 - 7 leaves, assures the maximum flavor of each cigar.  Specially fermented five year old wrapper leaves are unpacked from the bale and then conditioned and graded.  The silkiest, smoothest leaves are then selected and placed in bulks for a second fermentation.  It is this second curing that evens and develops the rosado color of the tobacco wrapper and eliminates any potential rawness, this accounts for much of a Diamond Crown cigar sweet, smooth rich flavor.  

Most Dominican cigar makers are customarily compensated by the number of cigars they produce each day.  Carlos has selected his most skilled cigar makers and pays them a fixed top rate of pay and then carefully inspects their work thus limiting the number of cigars they make each day. Even with this special quality cigar making process, each Diamond Crown cigar still must pass through three separate inspections.  Finally, the cigars are aged 12 full months in Carlos Fuente's cedar curing rooms, prior to a fourth and final inspection.
